Minneapolis, MN- With the advancement in food related health remedies many are turning to old folkways to help or cure some ailments. Many of these foods have also been show to help with women's health in many ways. How ever it can be hard for some Muslims to just find food's which are halal yet can still benefit their health here. Here are three halal foods that benefit women in times of need.
1. Ginger- a wonder food and a great way to spice up meals and desserts. Ginger combats nausea motion sickness and in pregnant women, morning sickness. For menstrual pains(taking 250 to 500 grams in pill form) it has been shown to be just as effective as taking Ibuprofen.
2. Oranges- vitamin C which is found in large amounts. Oranges are the biggest supplier of this essential nutrient. mostly helping with muscle pain it can also help with back pain during pregnancies.
3. Evening Primrose- usually in oil form it can be ingested as a tea it helps with arthritis and PMS Symptoms.
